Method of Learning
The learning is delivered using a Blended Learning model wherein it begins with a face to face instructor-led classroom session, thereafter continued over 10 to 14 days over an innovative e-learning platform called Wiztango.
The Blended Learning method enables learners overcome the common hurdles of time, location and pace of learning, giving them the flexibility to learn in a self-paced, social & collaborative manner.
In Singapore, such Learning Circles are funded by the LearnSG Seed Fund, thereby making them FREE for the participants.
Attending the Learning Circle on Online Presence Management
The first run of this Learning Circle was organised on 18th Aug 2017 and was well-received by the community….attended by over 30 enthusiastic learners from business owners to individuals. The first session was conducted by Mr. Azhar Katib, founder – director of WebSell Solutions Pte Ltd.
Subsequent batches of this Learning Circle were organized for eager participants at Sakae Fintech in Tai Seng and at Association of Muslim Professionals in Pasir Ris. More runs of this Learning Circle will be conducted island-wide in Singapore. Being active in the training field, WebSell also conducts focused trainings on digital marketing topics to corporates and individuals.
About Singapore Learning Circles
Singapore Learning Circles is a project funded by the Lifelong Learning Council. They’ve been recognized as an impactful model for community-led learning. The goal is to enable and facilitate a national learning model that is by the community with the community.
Currently, these Learning Circles are announced thru a Meetup Group and publicised on Meetup, Eventbrite and Facebook. Learning Circle Organisers also typically market their event individually through their network of contacts.
At the time of writing this post, over 20 Learning Circles have been launched on a variety of topics by Adult Educators every week, with many of them being hosted at the Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) Building in Paya Lebar.
